We are so excited to roll out our new podcast segment as an addition to The Thoroughbred Network and even more privileged to have Alix Turpin as our first guest.
Alix has a sporting background in showjumping and rowing and studied sports science at University. She has worked for a PR and Marketing agency in London before coming to Australia to work for leading tech company MindBody.
Alix then completed her visa country work requirements at Coolmore Stud in the Huntervalley. Her background in showjumping meant she was able to assist with the breaking season and expand her knowledge in Australian breeding. This was Alix's first introduction to thoroughbred racing and breeding industry and was she keen to explore more. She was introduced to up and coming trainer Annabel Neasham to discuss opportunities in her growing stable.
Alix accepted a role with Annabel Neasham as the Sales and Marketing manager and has thoroughly enjoyed growing Annabel's stable and welcoming new clients. Before arriving in Australia Alix was unaware of the career opportunities available to her within this industry, but she highly recommends it to anyone who is enthusiastic about the thoroughbred.
